All universities in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed.
As of February 2024, Librarians and Archivists with Palestine has confirmed destruction of the following four libraries:
• Islamic University of Gaza Library (Gaza
City). Destroyed, 10/9/23
• Al-Israa University Library and National Museum (near Gaza City) Destroyed, 1/18/24
• Al-Quds Open University Library (Gaza
City). Damaged, first reported 12/6/23
• Jawaharlal Nehru Library, Al-Azhar
University (Gaza City). Destroyed, 10/19/23
As university libraries, libraries, archives, and museums across Gaza have been intensively damaged or destroyed by Israeli forces, it is more essential than ever to uplift the Palestinian narrative, and resist the ongoing attempts to erase, deny or misrepresent Palestinian culture and history.

looks like me and my partner's SNAP/EBT benefits (aka food stamps) were not renewed for May 2024 and onwards. we've had these benefits since November 2023 and they've honestly been such a big help for keeping me and her fed. but... they're gone, without any notice, so i guess i need help. i hate asking for donations all the time but i don't know what to do. i'm already working a small job at the maximum that i can take, and my partner cannot work.

i'd also appreciate any sort of advice ya'll may have on contesting this or re-applying. it seems like the first 5 months were the "trial period"(?) and after the reapplication process in April they decided not to renew it. i just wasn't notified by mail or email that the benefits would be ending, they just... did not show up yesterday. i don't know what to do. honestly, i'm scared.

i will try to keep this post updated with the amount received. if you can help with anything at all, i'd appreciate it. thank you <3
